magnetic linear encoder system can be used to provide precise and reliable rotary positioning for the movement of PV panels. As each of these modules are moved to track the sunlight: a magnetic linear encoder system provides feedback for the horizontal rotational movement and feedback for the tilt rotational movement. This encoder system is non-contact, wear- and maintenance-free. It is highly rugged and impervious to dust. It contains an integrated reference location and has the ability to set limit switch locations.
